Climate:
Located in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, the richest, most biologically diverse desert ecosystem in the Americas, Scottsdale promises more than 300 days of sunshine each year

Population:
Although only 2,000 people called Scottsdale home in 1951 when it was incorporated, it is now home to over 234,000. This number swells during the cool winter months as people from all over flock to Scottsdale to enjoy the mild weather

The little one square mile city has grown to 184.2 square miles and is over 31 miles north to south.

Recreation:
Bike paths, activity centers, heated community pools, parks, elementary schools, libraries and citizen centers are extras included in many of the typical master-planned communities. Recreation classes, hiking trails, parks, pools, team sports, something for everyone.
